Hi. I'm Danielle.
I design, cut, and sew all of the products you see on this website.
As a Physical Therapist and Restorative Yoga Instructor, I've found that teaching yoga with props opens up possibilities and relief from pain that many people are not aware even exist. The restorative classes I teach are very prop-heavy, and it is my intention to help those who are seeking relief find what they need in yoga.
All of the yoga props are handmade in my low-waste studio. The eye cover fabrics are made with organic cotton, the sandbags and bolster covers with US-grown fabrics, the cotton grown in Kansas and manufactured in Michigan, and all of the fabric patterns are hand-drawn by a local designer and dyed with a non-toxic, water-based solution in Los Angeles.

P&P's commitments:
Quality
Each item has gone through rigorous brainstorming and practice over the last decade on the quest for the "unleakable" sandbag, the perfect eyebag, and the bolster that feels "just right." The components for each piece are carefully planned and crafted.
Non-violence
Organic materials are used whenever possible to protect the Earth from harsh pesticides, and every attempt to minimize waste is carried out in the studio - fabric scraps are turned into dog beds and pillows for lounging!
Beauty
The hand-drawn patterns on the bright cotton fabrics are unique and cannot be found elsewhere. Josi Severson of Minneapolis is the artist behind these beautiful fabrics.
Sustainability
Steps to ensure longevity of each product are taken throughout the creation process. These products are guaranteed to last many years.
